Engie - their chaps are on the case
Officers at North East Lincolnshire Council have received reports of vehicles using the public bridleway on South Marsh Road as a short cut between Hobson Way and North Moss Lane.
In response to this, signage will be installed reminding people that the route is a bridleway and should not be used by unauthorised motor vehicles.
During the works, existing damaged signs will also be replaced, and the road markings will be renewed.
Works are planned to start on Monday 14 December and will take one week to complete.
To allow the works to be carried out safely, a road closure will be in place on South Marsh Road between Hobson Way and North Moss Lane from 7:30am to 6pm each day.
Temporary traffic lights will also be in use at the Hobson Way and North Moss Lane junctions each day during the closure period.
North East Lincolnshire Council’s regeneration partner, Engie, will oversee the works with contractors Southam Services Ltd and J McCann Ltd carrying out the works.
