WALTHAM entrepreneur Emily Cook is aiming to spread some sunshine into peoples lives.
Come the New Year, she hopes to convert a shop at 4 Kirkgate in her village into a sunbed salon.
Emily has submitted a planning application for change of use of the premises, and this is due to be determined by North East Lincolnshire Council early in 2021.
Perhaps by Easter almost everyone in the village will be sporting the sort of suntans no longer achievable in exotic sunshine climes since Covid-induced restrictions were imposed on holiday travel.
Proposed hours of opening are 10am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday.
