A busy 10 days lie ahead for shipping in the Humber as global exporters and importers scramble to transport and land their stock before January 1 when the imposition of new regulations looks certain to create complexity. Restrictions and disruption resulting from the newly-emerged variant of coronavirus are also causing headaches aplenty for port operators and hauliers.
