This collared dove enjoyed the view - but not the result!
Grimsby Town 1 Exeter City 4
THE Mariners' leaky defence conceded another four goals as in-form Exeter City romped to victory at Blundell Park this evening.
It's back to the drawing board for boss Ian Holloway who has now seen his inconsistent side let in 10 goals in the past three matches.
For the promotion-chasing visitors, Randell Williams scored twice towards the end of the first half, while Ryan Bowman and Matt Jay contributed one each.
In truth, the scoreline flattered the away side because Town enjoyed plenty of possession but only had a first-half Luke Hendrie goal to show for some lively approach play.
Next up for Town is a trip to Colchester United on Saturday (kick-off: 5.30pm).
