GREEN LIGHT FOR FORMER GRIMSBY PUB TO BE CONVERTED TO TATTOO PARLOUR

Body adornment - Grimsby's Haven Mill

THE go-ahead has been given for change of use of the former Tap and Spile pub at Haven Mill, off Garth Lane in Grimsby, to a tattoo parlour.

North East Lincolnshire Council planners have approved an application submitted by local personality and highly-skilled exponent  Lincoln Mcknuckles who is now expected to transfer  from his existing unit in the  same building.

Any changes to the premises will be internally, so there should be no adverse impact on the appearance of what is a Listed Building.

The pub has been empty for several years.

Mr Mcknuckles' parlour is named Liberty Bell  after an important artefact symbol - as students of American history will know - of freedom and independence.

Many a month has elapsed since the last pint was pulled
