This is how the Toll Bar roundabout is expected to look once the revamp has been carried out. The visual impression above was released today by North East Lincolnshire Council and its principal private-sector partner, Engie. A programme of works to improve traffic flow at the roundabout is due to start next month following on from the introduction of a toucan crossing (installed in October last year) with the aim of improving road safety for pedestrians and cyclists. An announcement is expected to be made later this month on the firm that has won the contract to carry out the project.
