READY TO ROLL UP HIS SLEEVES - THE GO-GETTER WHO AIMS TO REVITALISE GRIMSBY TOWN CENTRE

Meet Paul Sargent - the business chief briefed to blast new life into the minster end of Grimsby's Freshney Place. London-based Queensbury Real Estate, the firm of which he is chief executive, has been appointed by North East Lincolnshire Council to oversee the £27-million cinemas-and-shops project. Says he: "I can’t wait to get started on the scheme. We have huge  experience of working with local authorities and understand the challenges that lie ahead. We recognise that Grimsby has its own personality and we will work closely with the council and the community to enhance  civic pride and deliver a sustainable long-term future for the town." Mr Sargent's career in property development spans three  decades across Continental Europe as well as the UK. His attention to detail (and love of good food and wine!) are said to be renowned in the industry, but he does not see work as a job. "It’s a vocation," he insists.
