PLANNERS RUBBER-STAMP LACEBY FIRM'S BUMPER NEW HOMES PROJECT FOR HEALING

LACEBY-based housebuilder Cyden Homes Ltd has been given the planning green light on its proposed  construction of 150 properties -the first stage of up to 250 - in Healing.

The proposal is to build homes of between two and five bedrooms on land off Stallingborough Road.

The scheme will also include a  play area, public open space, landscaping, parking provision and new drainage infrastructure.

The nearest neighbours are those in Buttercup Court and on  Forsythia Avenue, but planners believe they will "not be unduly affected".

Says a report: "The principle of the site being developed has been established through an outline planning permission.

"Landscaping is also proposed to reinforce the rural feel of the area.

"It is considered that there will not be an undue impact on the wider character of the area."

Among recently-completed projects, Cyden Homes developed the attractive Brecklands scheme in New Waltham.
