SOLAR panels are to be installed on the roof of North East Lincolnshire Council's municipal offices in Town Hall Square, Grimsby.
It is understood that the panels will be located mainly on flat-roofed areas behind parapets.
A reports states: "The visual impact will be minimal.
"For neighbours, there are large separation distances and adequate screening.
"There have been no objections from consultees."
It is not yet known how many panels will be installed, when the work will be carried and how much electricity is likely to be generated.
