ONE PAGE AT A TIME - LIBRARIES SET TO RE-OPEN BUT NOT YET FOR BROWSING THE SHELVES

Cleethorpes Library - it will be just like ordering a Chinese takeaway (but without the delivery)

A LIMITED  service will resume at libraries in North East Lincolnshire on Monday.

Browsing will not be an option - only a drop-off and takeaway system.

Lincs Inspire, which runs the libraries, is offering two ways for customers to collect a selection of pre-ordered books.

These are:

* Tell us the genres you like and we will put together a bundle for you.
* Reserve and collect - browse our catalogue online and reserve, or ring and reserve.

To use the takeaway service, just go to the online form or phone.

The library will then be in touch  to arrange a collection slot when the selection is ready.

To reserve specific items, browse the online catalogue and select Reserve once you have logged into your account.

Customers reserving books are asked to be patient as the service may be a little slower than usual.

However, loan times have been doubled to six weeks and there will be no charge for reservations.

Times of opening are as follows:

Grimsby Central Library (01472 323600)

Tuesdays – 10am to 1pm
Wednesdays – 2pm to 4pm
Fridays – 10am to 1pm

Cleethorpes Library (01472 323650)

Mondays – 2pm to 4pm
Tuesdays – 2pm to 4pm
Thursdays – 10am to 1pm

Immingham Library (01472 323631)

Mondays – 10am to 1pm
Thursdays – 2pm to 4pm

Waltham Library (01472 323656)

Wednesdays – 10am to 1pm
Fridays – 2pm to 4pm

Return dates on books that were borrowed before Lincs Inspire libraries closed for lockdown will be extended until the beginning of August to give customers longer to return items.
