GIVING IT SOME WELLY - TETNEY BLACKBIRD BELTS OUT ONE LATE BLAST OF SUMMER SONG

July is the month that marks the end of the singing season for one of  Britain's best-loved bird species - the blackbird. With the breeding season almost over and thus no longer any need to defend territory, male birds give their vocal chords a rest between mid-July and late-February. This determined bird was seen (and heard) giving things one last blast near Tetney with a wind turbine providing the backdrop.
