KINGFISHER DECIDES TO CHECK OUT THE DELIGHTS OF CLEETHORPES SALTMARSH

Although they are not thought to breed in North East Lincolnshire, kingfishers come here in winter and are not infrequently seen skimming over ponds or water courses such as the Buck Beck or even along coastal creeks at Humberston. This bird, however, was detected as it paused to admire the view at Cleethorpes saltmarsh opposite the foreshore chalets.
