GRIMSBY MP LIA NICI NOW SELF-ISOLATING AFTER DOWNING STREET TALKS WITH PRIME MINISTER

Lia Nici - working from home

FINGERS crossed that Grimsby MP Lia Nici does not come down with the dreaded Covid after her alert earlier today.

Ms Nici announced this morning  that she is self-isolating after her visit last week to 10 Downing Street.

As reported in the Grimsby News, Ms Nici had been holding talks with the Prime Minister.

But it has since  emerged that the pair were joined by Lee Anderson, the Conservative MP for Ashfield in Nottinghamshire, who has subsequently tested positive for the disease.

Boris Johnson is also self-isolating.

This morning, Grimsby's MP took to Twitter where she posted the following Tweet:

"I have been contacted by NHS Test and Trace following a work meeting last week with Lee Anderson MP and the Prime Minister.

"As a result. I will be self-isolating in line with the rules.

"I currently have no symptoms and will be working from home."
