GOLD medal winning  athlete Hollie Arnold MBE is very much an outsider to win the new season of I’m A Celebrity - Get Me Out of Here which starts this evening on ITV.

Bookmakers William Hill are quoting odds of 20-1 for her to win.

However, the 26 year old - from Holton-le-Clay - is nothing if not determined, as evidenced by her impressive sequence of global success as a javelin thrower.

What is more, she reckons the contest’s setting - Grwych Castle in Abegelele, North Wales - gives her ‘homebird’ advantage.

She previously trained at first  Ystrad Mynach College in Caerphilly, then Cardiff Metropolitan University.

What is more, Hollie's boyfriend, Josh Morgan, hails from Swansea.

The show's  favourites are Jordan North, Shane Richie (both 3-1) followed by Giovanna Fletcher (9-2), Mo Farah (11-2) and Vernon Kay (15-2).

The first episode of I’m A Celebrity screens at 9pm this evening.
