It looks like resurfacing is in prospect for the car park adjacent to the Humber Mouth Yacht Club and the RSPB reserve at Tetney Marshes. Over winter, the site had become peppered with potholes which, in some cases, seemed to be steadily deepening. It is understood that the material has to be free from toxins to safeguard the reserve from being contaminated, thereby creating hazard for birds and other wildlife. It is not known if the car park is the responsibility of North East Lincolnshire Council or Tingdene which holds a long lease on the nearby Humberston Fitties chalet park.
