An upbeat note on trading has been sounded by Lyssa McGowan (below), the chief executive of Pets at Home which has a prominent shop (pictured) at Hewitt's Circus in Cleethorpes. Sales nationwide have now reached record levels and are expected to increase more as the company peps up its online presence (currently 15 per cent). Pets at Home also has a growing veterinary business. Says Ms McGowan: "We continue to win market share and are well positioned for the future."
