Is this how Market Street in Cleethorpes might look in the months to come? At present, a large chunk of it serves as a car park, but urban designer Wayne Hemingway believes it should be pedestrianised and revert to its historic use as an open-air market, with local stallholders selling locally-sourced products. "Elsewhere in the country, market towns are doing really well,"he says. "There is no reason why Cleethorpes should not thrive as a seaside market town."
