LET THE SUN SHINE DOWN! PLANNING CONSENT GRANTED FOR SOLAR PANELS ON LIBRARY ROOF

                                                                             

The library in Waltham is set to become solar powered. North East Lincolnshire Council has granted itself planning consent  for installation of 54 photovoltaic panels (and an air source heating system) on the roof. Says a NELC spokesperson: "There are no demonstrable adverse impacts that would arise from the development, and the development will make a contribution to reducing harmful greenhouse gas emissions."
