| Mallard movie - new migration film to be released in February |
A NEW year treat beckons for scores of Mallard ducks that paddle about at Cleethorpes boating lake without a care in the world.
In February, the Parkway cinema, which is just over the road, plans to screen an American-made film which stars a family of the Cleethorpes ducks’ cousins that live on a pond in New England.
The action is centred on the escapades of the family - two adults, two ducklings - after they decide to migrate for a holiday in Jamaica, stopping off in New York City.
Word is that management at the Parkway is offering the boating lake ducks free attendance (with complimentary popcorn) at a special one-night-only screening.
A good time is guaranteed for all - Reportedly, it's a quacking good movie!
