Such a lingering impressions has Saturday Night Fever left on North East Lincolnshire's mayor, Cllr Ian Lindley, that he is busy rehearsing to be the new John Travolta, star of the blockbuster 1977 movie. He is getting into shape for a non-stop danceathon to raise money for the Pink Rose Suite at the Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital and The Sunflowers children’s action group. This 'disco inferno' will be held between 9am on Thursday March March 21 and 9am on Friday March 22 at Grimsby Town Hall. Pictured are Lindley (he's the one above!) and Travolta.
