The Kingsway - management re-think on exotic fruit trees |
A PROPOSAL for an orangery and outdoor at the Kingsway Hotel on Cleethorpes will not now proceed - at least not in the near future.
The ambitious scheme was unveiled at about this time year ago when a planning application was submitted to North East Lincolnshire Council.
It was accompanied by impressive designs and artwork by Hodsons Architects, also of Cleethorpes.
However, for various reasons, the management has decided to hold back on the project.
The past few years have seen substantial investment in upgrading the Kingsway which has always enjoyed a reputation for offering hospitality at its best.
Most recently, the two adjacent holiday homes - at 53 and 54 Kingsway - have been altered and extended.
