FIRST HUMBERSTON, NOW LOUTH - NEW SWOOP BY HERTFORDSHIRE HOLIDAY COMPANY

Kenwick Park - now under the same ownership as The Beachcomber

THE new owners of The Beachcomber holiday caravan park in Humberston have reportedly swooped for another hospitality company - Kenwick Park hotel, near Louth, plus its 77 lodges and golf course.

If accurate, it is another sign of confidence in the domestic tourism market from Hertfordshire-based new owners Away Resorts which already owns and operates nine other holiday parks in the Isle of Wight (where it started life), North Wales, Hampshire, Cornwall, Hayling Island, Essex and Lincolnshire (including Tattershall Lakes).

Enthuses the company: "We are on a mission to show Great Britain just how great it really is!

"Each Away Resorts park makes the most of its unique and beautiful surroundings and has its own individual appeal.

"Some of our parks are jam-packed with fantastic facilities and great entertainment, and others just simply provide a smaller offering with a base to explore the local area.

"Each one is full of love, with a family feeling, always providing service with a smile."

It continues: "We like to do things differently at Away Resorts, shaking up the industry!

"From any day arrivals to themed accommodation and welcome goodies on checking in, we want to ensure that our customers can holiday with “remember when we did that?” moments that will last a lifetime and that our owners enjoy their time with us again and again."

Over its lifetime, Kenwick Park has had several owners, most recently Sheffield-based Coppergreen Leisure Resorts.
