Pictured mid-morning today is Wind Innovation, an offshore support vessel on her way past Cleethorpes en route from Hull to the port of Den Helder in the Netherlands. She is sailing at a speed of 12.7 knots and expected to arrive there at noon tomorrow. Meanwhile, the shorebirds in the foreground are knot, a species of wading bird that breeds in Greenland but spends winter on the coast of Britain and other parts of Europe and Africa.
