STEEL GLOBE SCULPTURE COMING ALONG NICELY IN BLACKROW'S GRIMSBY WORKSHOPS

Pictured is work in progress on a steel globe sculpture which, when finished, will highlight bird migration and the importance of Cleethorpes Beach, during autumn and winter, as a feeding habitat for shorebirds such as curlew, sanderling, knot and redshank. The sculpture, which is being created in the Grimsby workshops of Blackrow Engineering, is due to be installed on the promenade later this year.
