POLICE APPEAL FOR WITNESSES FOLLOWING ARMED ROBBERY AT CLEETHORPES STORE

AN investigation has been launched following a robbery at a convenience store on Brereton Avenue, Cleethorpes between 8.30 and 8.50pm on Wednesday night.

Police are appealing for any information that could help them to identify the three men shown in  CCTV images.

Two of the men were reported to have threatened the shop worker with weapons and stolen various items from the shop.

Det-Insp Kerry Bull said: “We are conducting extensive enquiries to establish the identity of the men.

"This incident has left the shop worker understandably shaken, but thankfully she was not physically injured.

“The local policing team are in the area to provide reassurance and conduct further enquiries, and we would appeal for anyone who may be able to assist our investigation to get in touch or speak to these officers."
