THERE are hopes that the paddling pool on Cleethorpes front could re-open this summer.
Last year, it was closed throughout the season and presented an increasingly shabby sight to passers-by.
It was also disappointing, especially to parents with toddlers, that a traditional feature of the seaside scene was out of bounds.
However, the past few weeks have seen a major spruce-up. Now all it needs is water.
An announcement on the paddling pool - and who will manage it - is expected later this week.
