CLEETHORPES BEACH SKULL MYSTERY: IT'S PROBABLY NOT REAL - BUT ON THE OTHER HAND

Spooky sight - but who put it there?

There has been a macabre 'welcome' these past few days for visitors to Cleethorpes' outer beach.

Is it a real human skull that grins down from aloft the structure variously known as 'the shipwreck', 'the alamo', the 'plank-camp', 'the observatory' or the 'stately home'?

Probably not, but no one dares get too close - just in case.

Maybe best to keep your social distance, especially after dark when the skull is said to shudder on its pole and its eyes flash green!

Come and say hello - I'm ever so friendly

It's cold here, but I like the slower pace of life
