FAREWELL OLD FRIEND! BEAUTY SALON PLAN SPELLS END OF ROAD FOR IMMINGHAM SHED

Soon set to removed - the Immingham shed

A GARDEN shed inn Immingham is set to make way for a beauty salon.

Candice Harrop has been granted planning permission by North East Lincolnshire Council to remove the shed at 348 Pelham Road in favour of a new purpose-designed building for her enterprise.

It will be a small salon and will only have single customers  who will be arriving at appointed times.

The hours of working will be between 9 am and 7 pm , Monday to Saturday.

There will be no working on Sundays or Bank Holidays.

The majority of the clients are likely to be local, and some will walk.

For those that arrive by car there is ample parking to the front. Even with a couple of cars parked there is still adequate space for the cars to turn within the site.

to assess whether there is any adverse impact on neighbours, the initial consent is for a temporary period of 18 months, but, after this period Candice, will be able to apply to NELC to make the permission permanent.

For the sake of the blue tits, here's hoping a new home is found for the nestbox
