BLOB IN THE WATER OFF CLEETHORPES PROMENADE TURNED OUT TO BE A VISITING SEAL

                                            


Wildlife often springs surprises. A 'piece of timber' bobbing about in the water off the North Promenade in  Cleethorpes today turned out to be . . . a visiting seal. It checked out the scenery for 10 minutes or so, then was back off into the deep. Pictured above and below are glimpses of the unusual but very welcome visitor.
