Back in August, it was all smiles as Grimsby Town FC players went walkabout on Cleethorpes seafront. But hopes for a successful season soon faded. And defeat last night at Exeter City means the 'Mighty' Mariners will be demoted from the Football League. Next season, the club will be competing in the Vanarama National League against the likes of Wealdstone, Boreham Wood and Kings Lynn. |
