A SUMMER house in a Grimsby residential street is to be converted to a hair salon.
North East Lincolnshire Council has granted planning permission for the change of use at 14 Springwood Crescent.
However, the consent is for a temporary trial period of 18 months to establish that there is no inconvenience to neighbours.
The hours of operation will be between 9:30 hours and 15:00 hours Tuesday to Wednesday; between 09:30 hours and 19:00 hours on Thursdays; and 09:00 hours to 15:00 hours on Saturdays.
The salon will be closed on Mondays, Sundays and Public and Bank Holidays.
The successful applicant is Mrs Emma Daniel who says the salon where she used to work has now ceased trading - hence her decision to go solo.
"The maximum number of clients per day will be seven," she adds.
