PLANNING GREEN LIGHT FOR NINE NEW HOMES IN LEAFY PART OF GRIMSBY-AREA VILLAGE

PLANNERS have granted consent for a nine-homes development in Stallingborough.

Outbuildings in the grounds of  Wentworth House, at 4 Church Lane, will be demolished to make way for the development - seven houses and two bungalows.

A strict condition has been imposed that mitigating habitat should be provided for any roosting bats, songbirds or swallows liable to be made homeless by the loss of the outbuildings.

Agent for the scheme is the Dieter Nelson Planning Consultancy.
