Vigorous short back and sides tidy-up for Cleethorpes foreshore nature reserve

 

Let the site breathe! A robust burst of mowing has this week spruced up the foreshore nature reserve. It has certainly improved the appearance of the grassy site, but has it  disrupted the life-cycle of green hairstreak and other butterflies and  insects that rely on tall foliage for their survival? The experts will know.
