Hilda B - cargo of static caravans |
A DANISH ship laden with a cargo of static caravans destined for Gdansk in Poland is one of two vessels that have been moored in the mouth of the Humber off Cleethorpes today.
Hilda B is believed to have been caught up in the coastal traffic restrictions resulting from yesterday's widely reported collision between two other ships off the Yorkshire Coast.
This has led to a snarl-up at ports and wharves on the Humber and, further inland, on the Trent.
The other vessel anchored off Cleethorpes has been Capewater that has been waiting the green light to sail into Immingham with her cargo of chemical products.
