With only the shorebirds as company . . . stranded boating enthusiast waits patiently for next high tide

 

Spare a thought for this fellow who had to endure a long and lonely wait after his motor boat apparently became stranded on Cleethorpes sandflats as the tide receded this morning. His hope was that the next high tide at about 10pm would come to his aid.
