A ticking off for the couple |
A COUPLE who took their dog walkies on a restricted section of Cleethorpes Beach this morning received a reprimand from enforcement officers.
The dogs ban - which lasts until September 30 - is to reduce the risk of nuisance to other beach users and to shorebirds, many of them declining, which feed on the sandflats.
It is not known if the couple might also cop a £100 fixed penalty fine from North East Lincolnshire Council.
The signage could scarcely be more conspicuous |
The sweet little dog was blissfully unaware of the problem caused to its owners |
Birds don't trust dogs - this group took to the air before the dog could give chase |
