A CHANGE of ownership is on the cards for a popular Cleethorpes chippie.
Estate agents Roost say that, subject to contract, The Plaice, on Trinity Road, has been sold.
Under the current ownership for the past decade or so, this neighbourhood chippie has enjoyed a stellar reputation - not just for the fresh and generously proportioned quality of its product but also for its friendly and efficient service.
It is understood that the premises are subject to a lease arrangement with the landlord, but the sale of the business includes the fryers, ancillary equipment and, unusually, a car that has been used for deliveries.
The Plaice was being marketed by Roost at a price of £30,000.
