Has water pumped from paddling pool into Cleethorpes boating lake endangered fish and birds?

Slightly concerning are these photographs which appear to show water from Cleethorpes paddling pool being pumped into the adjacent boating lake. Why concerning? Because water in the pool was treated with chemicals in summer. The lake is an important habitat for fish and birds, many of  which have struggled in the drought. A new threat to their wellbeing, is thus, most emphatically, not required. Chlorine - often added to water in public pools - is known to kill fish. Was it contained in the water discharged into the boating lake on Monday? If so was the quantity within permitted limits? Reassurance is required.
