WHOEVER HEARD OF SUCH A THING - A MARSH WITH NO WATER! THE DROUGHT CONTINUES

The continuing drought has made this sign at the Humberston Fitties pools redundant. There is not enough  water even to paddle, let alone swim. Much of the site, which is part of the RSPB Tetney Marshes reserve, is bone-dry. Sadly for birdwatchers, that means there are no wading birds to be seen- just black-headed gulls.
