COUPLE PLAN TO BREATHE NEW LIFE INTO DISUSED PARK PAVILION

The pavilion - set for a dose of much-needed tender, loving care
GOOD luck to  Alex Hollamby and Louise Deane who are keen to breathe new life into the unloved and rapidly-deteriorating pavilion  in Haverstoe Park, Cleethorpes.

North East Lincolnshire Council is so impressed with the duo's business plan to set up a cafĂ© and events venue in the property that it is willing to make it available at a peppercorn rent of just £1 a year (if demanded) over the lifetime of a 125-year lease.

As part of the arrangements, sports changing rooms and WCs will be reopened.

Although refurbishment will be costly, it is understood that grants will be available.
