Care home plan unveiled for Grimsby site once occupied by frozen food company Bird's Eye

A NEW 70-bedroom care home is on the cards for Grimsby.

Peterborough-based   Country Court Care Ltd have unveiled plans for the project earmarked for part of the site off Ladysmith Road that was once occupied by a Bird's Eye frozen food factory.

The scheme also makes provision for eight apartments, a car park and landscaping.

The application is currently under consideration by planners at North East Lincolnshire Council.
