AN application by developer Peter Strawson of Idyllic Estates to build nine bungalows in Waltham has been withdrawn.

Until the change of heart, the plot earmarked had been a field off Woodland Way, which is off Grimsby Road, on the outskirts of the village.

The was an objection from the parish council and four residents, but it has not been revealed why the application was withdrawn.
