He's (probably) only joking - Lincolnshire mayoral candidate urges North Sea change of name

Thank heavens for a politician (or rather a would-be politician) with a sense of humour! Following the example of President Trumps's plan to rename the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of America, Jason Stockwood - co-chairman of Grimsby Town FC and Labour's candidate to become mayor of Lincolnshire  in the poll on May 1 - has proposed a change of name for the North Sea. He says he might even include the idea in his forthcoming campaign literature.
