The former home of Petit Delight is said to be under offer |
NEW occupants could soon be moving into the former Queen's Hotel at the corner of Sea View Street and Cambridge Street in Cleethorpes.
Since the Petit Delight restaurant closed earlier this year, the property - which is of architectural and historical merit - has stood empty.
There has not been a great deal of interest because restaurateurs are going through tough times, and a lot of meals would have to be sold to meet £40,000-per-annum lease and overheads.
However, the agents, Scotts, have revealed that the building, which has two storeys, a basement and a 'beer garden' yard, is now 'under offer'.
Word on the street is that it might become a specialist kebab restaurant and takeaway, but this has not been confirmed.
