| Pictured is just some of the litter gathered by volunteers on Great Grimsby Day last month. According to North East Lincolnshire Council, a total of 565 kg - just over half a tonne- was gathered from areas which included Weelsby Woods, People's Park, Ainslie Street Park, Great Coates and Duncombe Street. They have since been applauded by NELC portfolio holder for the environment Cllr Stewart Swinburn who commented: " I am grateful to all those who took the time to make a difference." |
