A NEW use beckons for Healing Village Hall.
It is to become a retail club solely use for members of the Plymouth Christian Brethren Church.
The proposal has split villagers, but North East Lincolnshire Council granted consent for change of use at this week's planning committee meeting.
The decision paves the way for the property to be sold to the Brethren with the proceeds being put to a new community premises elsewhere.
A planning condition has been imposed that the hall shall not be open for trading outside the following hours:
Monday to Friday: 09:00am to 10:00pm
Saturday: 09:00am to 10:00pm
Sundays, Public and Bank Holidays: 09:00am to 18:00pm.
