| Touring caravans in situ at Thorpe Park over Easter |
COULD it soon be the end of the road for touring caravans at Humberston's Thorpe Park holiday centre?
At present, 120 pitches are allocated for tourers compared with 1,772 for statics.
But Bourne Leisure Ltd which operates the 184-acre site wants to phase out the former in order to accommodate more of the latter.
Its proposal is subject to the consent of North East Lincolnshire Council whose planners are currently considering the application.
