The retail scene in Grimsby's Freshney Place faces a setback with news that the Poundland store could close unless a buyer is found for it and its sister shops in the UK. It is today being widely reported that the struggling US-owned business is poised, sadly, to go into administration just as happened to Wilko three years ago. For the time being, it continues to trade.
