Turf-laying has this week been in progress at Thorpe Park

Landscaping work has begun on the extension of the Thorpe Park holiday park in Humberston.

A home is being provided for some 40 static caravans on the site once occupied by the Tertia Trust.

Owners Bourne Leisure have this week been installing turf in preference to synthetic grass, an easy-maintenance alternative but  regarded by many as tacky and unfriendly to the environment and wildlife.
