IMMINGHAM WOMAN PLANS TO BREATHE NEW LIFE INTO VACANT CLEETHORPES CHARITY SHOP

Pamper parties in prospect for former charity shop

A NEW chapter could soon open on the building which stands at 2 Market Street, Cleethorpes.

The  most recent use of the single-storey, flat-roofed was as an Age UK charity shop, but it could soon be converted to a venue for  children's parties and a beauty salon.

The project is the brainchild of Immingham entrepreneur Tara Plaskitt-Stanley who has submitted a planning application for change of use to North East Lincolnshire Council.

Says she: "Our plan is primarily to conduct children’s VIP pamper parties - up to six  at present, rising to eight once all Covid regulations are lifted.

"There will also be, mother-and-daughter pamper days and minor beauty treatments covering all ages.

"We believe this will be hugely successful venture and of benefit for the area.

"It will also be to the advantage of other local shops as we bring increased footfall."

Mrs Plaskitt-Stanley's application is currently under consideration by NELC planners with a decision expected by early summer if not sooner.
